Street Car Shootout
Registration for the Street Car Shootout to be done at the Street Car Shootout Tech booth before time trials start on Saturday Morning. If you are only Racing Saturday in the Street Car Shootout please let the Drag Wars Registration booth know when you enter at the racers gate and they will instruct you on where to go. Entry fee for the Street Car Shootout is $75.00 All cars must have valid Plates and registration OR non insured/registered Door Car can enter but must go right to the outlaw class. All cars entered must go through the Street car shootout tech inspection before the start of the time trials. This is where the Tech officials will determine what class the car will be in. No passengers allowed. IHRA rules apply. Classes Real Street (2 Or less Performance adders) Quick Street (3 Performance adders) 4 Cylinder = 0 Power adders 6 Cylinder = +1 Power adder 8 Cylinder or larger engine = +2 Turbo/Supercharger/Nitrous = +1 each Sticky tires over 10.5” and OVER or 295 and OVER if a drag radial +2 (Includes 10.5W) All cars will be checked for DB of noise at 3500 rpm no load - if over 95 db +1 Example: A Stock 8 cylinder car will be in the same class as a 4 Cylinder Turbo car with Nitrous. Racing Rules All passes are heads up.
Drivers will get at least 1 Time Trial before racing. Any Bye runs during eliminations must be within 15% of your previous best run. Absolutely NO Tow Backs or Tow vehicles. Additional Trophies/ Payouts Quickest Nitrous Pass |
