FRIDAY NIGHT Auto Trac Alignment King of the Street. Interested in racing your street car? Come on out Friday night 5pm. Cost is $20. The car must pass a safety inspection. Learn how to master the tree from our seasoned racers. This is the best way to get your feet wet with the exciting sport of Drag Racing.
Please note you must pay at the gate for Friday night. There is no pre-registration for King of the Street. More Information and King of The Street rules can be found Here.
SATURDAY TIME TRIALS FOR SUNDAY'S BRACKET RACING ELIMINATIONS.
Bracket racing is a system of racing that allows cars of varying times to compete fairly. For more info regarding bracket racing see this link. New racers are always welcome
Time Trials will be scheduled on Saturday. NO Time Trials will be scheduled on Sunday. Time Trials will begin at 9 am Saturday Aug 22, 2009.
OLD SCHOOL HEAD UP RACING After Time Trials. Racer Participation Optional. For the first time at Drag Wars! Normally all racing at Drag Wars is bracket racing. This year on Saturday the cars will be racing heads up… but here is a twist. They will only be racing 1/8th mile not ¼ mile! This puts the finish line at where the crowd can see the winner. The second twist is that the start will be done with an old school FLAG DROP! There is no extra entry fee as it is ment to be something fun for the fans and Racers. If your car is picked and you don't want to be part of the fun just let us know. More information can be found here.
We can't forget our Junior class so for them we will be running a Junior King of the Hill.
